Meet the Team (3)

I am the Director and Registered Manager of Bennett Care Hampshire Ltd, where I am building a service focused on safe, compassionate, person-centred care, delivered with strong governance, compliance, and respect for every person’s dignity and lifestyle.
I am an experienced Health and Social Care professional with over 15 years of experience in the UK, providing leadership across domiciliary and residential care services.
My background includes roles as Registered Manager, Care Manager and Team Leader with organisations including Bluebird Care and CHD Living, where I have led multidisciplinary teams, managed regulated services and ensured full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and high standards of person-centred care.
My passion for health and social care began when I started working as a Healthcare Assistant, supporting vulnerable adults and gaining first-hand experience of the importance of compassionate, dignified and person-centred care. That hands-on experience continues to shape my leadership approach today, ensuring that every decision remains focused on the wellbeing, independence and individual needs of the people we support.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (England), together with a nursing qualification and a Bachelor's Degree.
I am a member of Parkinson's UK, Skills for Care, Surrey Care Association and Hampshire Care Association. Through my membership of Parkinson's UK, I regularly attend educational meetings and remain committed to expanding my knowledge to better support our people living with Parkinson's disease and their families.
With over 20 years of management experience in the UK and internationally, I bring strong governance, strategic leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement. I have a particular interest in dementia care, Parkinson's care, quality assurance, digital innovation in social care and developing services that combine regulatory excellence with truly compassionate, person-centred support.
My connection to care is also personal. Inspired by my grandmother, I developed a deep respect and care for older generations.
I am currently actively involved in supporting and organising care for a family member living with Parkinson’s, where I also rely on external carers and services.
This gives me a direct understanding of care not only as a provider, but also from a family’s perspective—where trust, communication, consistency, and dignity are essential, and where I understand both the caring responsibility and the financial commitment involved, as well as the pressure this can bring to both families and people receiving care.
My experience in health and social care, together with my ongoing personal involvement in supporting a family member, continues to shape my values and approach. It guides how Bennett Care Hampshire is led—with empathy, fairness, and genuine understanding—and ensures that every member of the team is carefully selected to reflect and promote these values.

Hello, I'm Karla.
I believe that every interaction matters and that even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone's day and give them something to look forward to.
I am genuinely a caring person, and both my professional and personal experiences have given me a real understanding of the challenges faced by older people and their families. Over many years, I have closely supported people living with Alzheimer's disease, cancer, autism and ADHD, developing patience, empathy and a calm, person-centred approach while learning that every person's journey is unique.
I also have many years of personal experience supporting a close family member with autism and ADHD. Through everyday life, I have learned to understand these conditions, adapt to individual needs, communicate with patience and build confidence, while continually educating myself to provide the best possible support.
Having experienced the heartbreak of losing a close family member to Alzheimer's disease, I understand not only the practical challenges of providing care but also the emotional journey families experience throughout the illness and the grief that follows losing someone they love. This has strengthened my belief that compassionate care is about supporting both the individual and the people around them, and it has made me even more determined to help others through some of life's most difficult moments with kindness, patience and dignity.
One of the most rewarding moments in my caring journey was knowing that the support I provided brought comfort not only to the person I was caring for but also to their family during an incredibly difficult time.
Receiving heartfelt feedback from them brought tears to my eyes. Knowing that I was trusted to make a positive difference during someone's final chapter is something I will always carry with me, and one of the reasons I feel so passionate about providing compassionate care.
I enjoy getting to know each person as an individual, taking the time to understand what matters most to them, what makes them smile, what they look forward to each day, and building relationships based on trust, dignity and respect.
I believe that outstanding care is about listening, being present, offering reassurance, helping people feel seen, heard, valued and comfortable, while encouraging them to remain as independent and confident as possible.
I also strongly believe that being professional is just as important as being compassionate. I am committed to continually developing my knowledge through professional training while building on the valuable experience I have gained throughout my career journey.
For me, outstanding care is about much more than completing tasks—it's about bringing reassurance, companionship, confidence and a smile to someone's day while always working in accordance with the company`s values, policies, procedures and high standards of care.
At Bennett Care Hampshire, our culture, mission and vision are built upon compassion, professionalism, dignity, respect and genuine human connection. These values are reflected in one of our guiding principles:
"You Have the Power to Make Someone's Day. Use It."
I am proud to be part of a team that lives by these values every day.
Together, we believe that outstanding care is built on kindness, compassion, professionalism, respect and genuine human connection. Every interaction is an opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life, and that is something I strive to do every day.

My name is Aman, and I am proud to be part of the Bennett Care Hampshire team.
Originally from Nepal, I have always enjoyed learning, helping others and finding practical solutions to challenges. Before moving to the UK, I worked in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), where I developed strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
After moving to the UK, I chose to build my career in the care sector because I genuinely enjoy helping people and find it incredibly rewarding to bring moments of comfort, happiness and reassurance into someone's life.
I have experience working in a residential care home, where I have undertaken both caring and administrative responsibilities. Supporting people with dignity, compassion and respect, while also contributing to the day-to-day administration of the service, has given me a broad understanding of how high-quality care is delivered, both on the frontline and behind the scenes.
I recently completed my Master's degree in Cyber Security, which reflects my passion for continuous learning and lifelong professional development. I am proud to bring both my caring skills and my professional expertise to Bennett Care Hampshire.
At Bennett Care Hampshire, I support both our administration and care services. I enjoy working as part of a team that truly puts people first, and I believe every person deserves to be treated with kindness, patience and respect.
I believe that even the smallest act of kindness can make a meaningful difference to someone's day, and I am committed to helping people feel safe, respected and valued while living by our company's philosophy:
"You have the power to make someone's day. Use it."
I love being part of our team and look forward to growing alongside my colleagues as we continue to provide high standards of care to our clients and their families. I am excited to continue developing my knowledge and skills while making a positive difference in the lives of the people we support.
