Mum broke her hip in March and following subsidised care had to find a private provider. The care team manager and carers have done an excellent job...communication is great..and have helped mum with rehab exercises to strengthen and regain mobility. She can now climb 4 stairs, walk with 2 sticks and has sufficient balance to stand and take some steps unaided. The help she has been given has given her just the confidence she needs towards greater independance. Thank you team.

I really liked our carer when I met her and thought she'd be perfect for caring for my sons, working alongside myself. She was very friendly and well qualified, but very disorganised. I chose to overlook this at the beginning. She had a run of bad luck in her personal life which meant she couldn't attend for 8 weeks which I accommodated. But she lacked good communication-I was forever chasing her to find out if she'd be doing her planned shifts and I wouldn't get a reply for days, sometimes having to chase her up again before getting a response. Then when she confirmed she'd be doing her planned shift after being away for 8 weeks, 4 days in advance(after I'd chased her up yet again) she simply failed to turn up, without letting me know she couldn't attend after all. I've tried reaching out to her, but 24 hours later have had no explanation or apology. Very poor service-definitely wouldn't recommend this company at all.

The team from Birch Social Care provide consistent, professional, personalized, friendly and thoughtful care service. We have the same team which is very important for delivering a consistent support which we know works well , and my mother's personal care needs are fully known and understood every day.
