Mum, 89, engaged Birch services for her care post op of her hip replacement following her 6 weeks funded package. The team have been highly professional, on time and spent the whole hour paid for helping mum not just with personal care but also other little household tasks to ease her recovery. JB in particular encouraged mums recovery by recommending and helping her with some exercises. This was invaluable and we are amazed at her mobility. The whole team has been kind, respectful and mum very much looked forward to seeing them every day. Thank you Birch team ...youve been amazing.

I really liked our carer when I met her and thought she'd be perfect for caring for my sons, working alongside myself. She was very friendly and well qualified, but very disorganised. I chose to overlook this at the beginning. She had a run of bad luck in her personal life which meant she couldn't attend for 8 weeks which I accommodated. But she lacked good communication-I was forever chasing her to find out if she'd be doing her planned shifts and I wouldn't get a reply for days, sometimes having to chase her up again before getting a response. Then when she confirmed she'd be doing her planned shift after being away for 8 weeks, 4 days in advance(after I'd chased her up yet again) she simply failed to turn up, without letting me know she couldn't attend after all. I've tried reaching out to her, but 24 hours later have had no explanation or apology. Very poor service-definitely wouldn't recommend this company at all.

The team from Birch Social Care provide consistent, professional, personalized, friendly and thoughtful care service. We have the same team which is very important for delivering a consistent support which we know works well , and my mother's personal care needs are fully known and understood every day.
