I’m Ellie. I am the registered manager and owner of Novel Home Care. I have 10 years’ experience in care, covering all aspects from dementia care to adults with physical disabilities and young adults with mental health conditions. I have spent my career in both care homes and the community setting, as well as working in the council as an adult social care practitioner. I have learnt a lot and gained a lot of skills and knowledge in all areas of care. I have a Level 5 qualification in leadership and management in adult social care, as well as Level 2 and 3 qualifications in health and social care (adult). Nicola is known as Nicki. She splits her time working as a senior carer with Novel Home Care and working as a health care assistant in a doctor’s surgery, where Nicki takes bloods, does observations, manages wound care/dressings and other vital tasks to support the community. This role helps keep her many clinical skills and knowledge up to date and therefore helps our clients with their medical conditions and queries. Read less

With over 30 years in the care industry, Julie brings extensive knowledge, skills and experience to our team. She was an area manager of a care company before she decided to step down and return to the ‘hands-on’ role of being a care assistant. Julie is a local lady, living in Wincanton for many years. Julie has a wide range of qualifications, including the equivalent of a level 5 in leadership and management in health and social care. Julie is looking forward to being back as a carer, working very closely with the clients to ensure the care we provide for them is high quality and person-centred. Read less
