WMHC Ltd is an independent, family-run care provider delivering personalised home care, supported living and live-in care across Birmingham. The service supports individuals over the age of 18 who are frail, have physical disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health needs, helping people to maintain their independence and quality of life at home.
Care is tailored to each individual’s needs, preferences, lifestyle and goals. Support ranges from assistance with everyday living to longer-term and complex care. Personal care can include help with getting up, washing and dressing, toileting and continence, medication, preparing for bed and other daily routines that may have become difficult to manage independently.
WMHC Ltd provides supported living for individuals who require regular support while retaining greater choice and control over their lives. Individuals can have their own tenancy and receive support designed around their needs, helping them make choices about daily routines, activities, meals and wider goals.
Live-in care provides dedicated one-to-one support for people who wish to remain in their own home rather than move into residential care. Care workers provide practical assistance, companionship and reassurance while respecting each person’s privacy, dignity and routines. Continuity of care is encouraged wherever possible, with care workers carefully selected and trained to meet individual needs.
WMHC Ltd is committed to compassionate, person-centred care. Staff encourage individuals to maintain their independence and make their own choices wherever possible, while providing appropriate support when needed. The service places compassion, integrity, trust, commitment and teamwork at the heart of care, with the wellbeing, dignity and quality of life of every individual remaining central to the service provided.
