Caremark Bournemouth believes work in the care industry needs to be flexible: their main concern being looking after their clients properly, they need to be flexible in providing what their clients need and flexible in what they offer their Care Assistants.
If someone can work only between 7AM and 12PM, they can make it work; if their clients change their minds in terms of timings, they expect flexibility on both sides - their Care Assistants to be able to move someone's call earlier or later, their clients if someone suddenly goes into hospital and the Care Assistant needs to go 10-15 min earlier to the clients' home.
The job is a tiring job that needs people who are flexible. It is also one of the most rewarding jobs one can get. So flexibility is at the core of their mission and they hope anyone who comes and works with them understands that as soon as they meet.
