You will be providing quality care services to elderly and less able individuals in their own home as an alternative to a residential care home. You will offer assistance with personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks as well as ensuring they have emotional support and companionship.
Previous experience as a Care Assistant is not necessaryas we have an extensive colleague training & development programme, although you must:
- Be kind, compassionate, enjoy helping others and have a positive, can-do attitude that reflects our organisation's values
- Be committed to working alternate weekends
- Have availability and be flexible to work various shifts including evenings, usual shift patterns include 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 in Health and social care is desirable but not essential
- Must be willing to work towards care certificate qualification
- Must have a full driving licence
- Must have use of own car
- must have a DBS completed or be on the update service
- Caring and friendly
- Have good communication skills
- Have good understanding skills
