Job summary

Requirements:

• Possess a full driving license.
• Have access to a car with business insurance coverage that can be used for work-related purposes.

Role Specific Duties:

• Prioritise the well-being and individual preferences of Service Users, ensuring their needs are at the center of care delivery.
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the service.
• Support Service Users in maintaining their local community connections and relationships.
• Follow Care Plans and adhere to guidelines for supporting Service Users.
• Report any changes in the needs of Service Users promptly to the Field Care Supervisor.

Working with Others:

• Cultivate effective working relationships with fellow employees at Sap Care Services.
• Collaborate with members of multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users.

Leading by Example:

• Actively seek personal and professional growth opportunities.
• Serve as a role model for other carers and be an ambassador for the service.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and reasonable demeanor at all times.

Personal Responsibilities:

• Familiarise yourself with the regulatory framework governing the service, including the role of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and their requirements.
• Commit to acquiring the relevant qualifications commensurate with your role.
• Attend statutory training and any additional training as directed by management.
• Comprehend and strictly follow all policies and procedures relevant to your role.
