Job summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide personal care for a young girl with special needs. This role involves supporting her at her home and accompanying her to her activities at SENPLAY and school. This position is ideal for someone passionate about delivering personal care and making a positive impact in a child's life.
Location : South Oxhey, Watford 35 hrs per week
Day-to-day of the role:
Monday to Thursday:
- Start at the young girl's house at 8:30 am.
- Provide personal care and support at her house before accompanying her to SENPLAY.
- Be present in the transport provided for the journey to SENPLAY.
- Accompany her from SENPLAY back to her home at 2 pm.
Friday:
- Meet the young girl and her mum at Greenfields Primary at 9:30 am.
- Accompany her to SENPLAY, with the session ending at 3 pm.
- Take her home, which takes about 30 minutes.
Transport:
- Transport is provided from the house to SENPLAY and school from Monday to Friday. The Care Assistant must accompany the young girl during these journeys
- Experience essential.

Skills / Qualifications:
- Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in providing personal care for individuals with special needs
- particularly children. Ability to provide compassionate and supportive care. Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility. Good communication skills to interact effectively with the young girl and her family. Enhanced DBS check will be required.
