AJEB Healthcare is a domiciliary care company providing high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. We are currently looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support our clients across Harrogate and surrounding areas.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will help individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by providing essential care and support within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

Every day is different, but your role will include:

• Providing personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility

• Supporting clients with medication administration in line with care plans

• Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration

• Supporting with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and shopping

• Offering companionship and emotional support

• Promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times

• Observing, monitoring, and reporting changes in clients’ health or wellbeing

• Accurately completing care records and documentation

• Following company policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements

Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car

Driving is essential – mileage is paid at £0.35 per mile

Right to work in the UK (AJEB Healthcare does not offer sponsorship)

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided)

Enhanced DBS check (provided free of charge by AJEB Healthcare)
