About the Role

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will support people to maintain their independence and live comfortably at home. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal care – assisting with washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, and maintaining dignity at all times
• Food and hydration support – preparing meals, supporting with eating and drinking, and monitoring nutritional needs
• Medication assistance – prompting or administering medication in line with care plans and company policy
• Household tasks – light cleaning, laundry, shopping, and helping maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
• Companionship – offering emotional support, conversation, and social interaction
• Record keeping – completing accurate, clear notes and reporting any concerns promptly

• Willingness to travel between clients’ homes
• Availability for mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis
• Previous experience of one year is required – up to date full training is provided
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
