Job summary

Location: Anniesland, Hyndland, Knightswood, Blairdardie and surrounding areas

A UK valid driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.

This role is vital in providing high standards of care and support to clients in their own homes. Visit times to each client can vary. You will assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, companionship, hobbies/activities, social outings and medication. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Monitor clients' health and support clients with health-related challenges. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions. Ability to follow care plans and document client progress accurately using an App on your phone.

Your duties will include:

Care Assistant Requirements: 

• Caring, patience and compassion

• Commitment and reliability

• Excellent communication skills

• Full Driving Licence and own reliable vehicle

• Car Business Insurance

• Two satisfactory employment references

• Satisfactory Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) 

• SSSC registration within three months of employment

• Right to work in UK
