Job summary

Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Pay: £12.50 per hour + 35p mileage
Shifts: Mixture of days, nights, two evenings per week & alternative weekends
Work Location: On the road (community & supported housing)

Important:
This is a community-based role. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Key Responsibilities

As a Community Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred support to individuals in their own homes. Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting

  • Provide emotional and social support, companionship, and encouragement to engage in community activities

  • Support with medication, basic health monitoring, and accompany individuals to appointments

  • Help individuals develop life skills, pursue education, or gain employment

  • Maintain accurate records and care documentation

  • Work closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, person-centred care

  • Follow personalised support plans tailored to individual needs and goals

What We’re Looking For

  • Good organisation and time management skills

  • Flexibility, including rotational weekend working

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential)

  • At least 1 year’s experience in health and social care (required)
