Job summary

We are currently seeking experienced Domiciliary Healthcare Assistants with a background in supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Learning Difficulties to join our growing team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred care and support to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, medication, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Provide emotional and behavioural support tailored to individuals with SEN and learning difficulties.
- Promote independence, confidence, and life skills development.
- Follow care plans and record accurate daily logs and observations.
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.

Skills / Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with SEN and/or learning difficulties is essential
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a domiciliary or care setting (preferred).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- including some evenings and weekends.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- A compassionate patient and proactive approach.
