We  are seeking to recruitment an energetic, inventive, experience registerd manager with proven track record in supporting organisation growth  .  The successful applicant will have an ‘hands on approach’  to carryout the role as a registered manager.

As the Registered  Manager of our Children and Young People Service, you'll spearhead the effective management of our services, specialising in meeting the unique needs of individual young people.

Are you the right person for the job?

·  Experience as an acting Home Manager or Deputy Manager

·  Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent

·  Full UK Driving Licence + own vehicle

·  A minimum of two years' recent experience in managerial role in a similar setting

·  Proficiency in working with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and a strong grasp of therapeutic strategies

·  Sound knowledge of relevant Looked After Children (LAC) procedures

·  Proven track record in supervising and developing staff

·  Experience in building positive relationships

·  Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills

·  Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities

·  Positive and empowering attitude towards children and young people and those with social care needs

·  Commitment to the values of Compassion, Integrity and Respect

·  Honest, trustworthy, reliable and able to work under pressure

·  Physically and mentally capable of fulfilling the role

·  Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check and Professional references

What will your role look like?

In this role, you will manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home, including:

  • Planning and delivering quality support care to children and young people
  • Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing and managing an efficient team of staff
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Managing resources effectively and reporting concerns as needed
  • Implementing and managing administrative systems as required
