About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Live-In Care Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a lovely lady living in her own home. The client has Parkinson’s disease and reduced mobility following a recent hospital admission, so she requires structured support with daily routines, supervision with mobility, and reassurance to maintain her safety and wellbeing.

This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with the client while providing high-quality, person-centred care in a calm home environment. A separate waking night carer will be present overnight, allowing you to focus on daytime support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care including washing, dressing and toileting

• Supporting safe mobility using equipment such as Sara Stedy and Zimmer frame

• Preparing meals and encouraging hydration

• Light household tasks related to the client’s care

• Providing companionship and emotional reassurance

• Prompting medication as outlined in the care plan

• Maintaining accurate daily care records and reporting concerns

Essential Requirements • Previous care experience, ideally supporting mobility needs

• Knowledge of safe moving and handling procedures

• Legal right to work in the UK

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

• Two professional references

• Professional, respectful approach with strong communication skills
