Job summary
We are looking for an ambitious, motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Registered Manager for our service in Reading.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who may already be working as a Deputy Manager, Care Manager, Field Care Supervisor or in a similar leadership role and is now ready to take the next step in their career. We welcome applicants who are passionate about high-quality care, eager to grow professionally, and committed to leading a service with the right support in place.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and day-to-day management of the service, helping to ensure safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered at all times. You will work closely with senior leadership and receive support as you develop within the role.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the overall management and development of the service

Promote high standards of person-centred care and positive outcomes for service users

Lead, supervise and support care and office staff

Help ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies

Support with audits, quality monitoring, reviews and service improvement

Assist with safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints and investigations
-
Oversee care planning, risk assessments and safe delivery of care

Build positive working relationships with families, professionals and local stakeholders

Contribute to staff development, performance management and recruitment

Help drive occupancy, growth and the overall success of the service
Requirements:
-
Experience in health and social care, ideally within domiciliary care, supported living or a similar setting

Experience in a senior or supervisory role such as Deputy Manager, Care Manager, Team Leader or Field Care Supervisor

Good understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding

Willingness to develop knowledge of CQC regulations and leadership responsibilities

Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
-
A positive attitude and genuine desire to progress into a service leadership role

Level 3 in Health and Social Care essential, Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it

Full right to work in the UK

Full UK driving licence preferred
