Job Title: Domiciliary Support Worker

Location: Bury

Job Type: Part Time 16-25hours per week 

Rates are £13 per hour with enchanced rate on bank holidays. Mileage also included for travel.

Shift patterns are: 7:30am-2pm/4pm-10pm

Must be able to work alternate weekends

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Support Worker to join our care team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support clients with personal care where required.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care such as washing, dressing, and grooming

Support with meal preparation and nutrition

Help with medication reminders where appropriate

Assist with light household tasks including cleaning and laundry

Provide companionship and emotional support

Support clients with mobility and safe transfers

Accompany clients to appointments or social activities when needed

Maintain accurate records of care provided

Requirements

A caring, patient, and respectful attitude

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Right to work in the UK

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
