Care Worker Assistant

Job summary

We are currently recruiting a confident and active Care Assistant / Companion to support a young female client based in the Kingston area.

This is a companionship-focused role supporting an independent individual who uses a wheelchair and enjoys spending time outdoors.

About the Client:

• Young female

• Wheelchair user

• Very independent and enjoys an active lifestyle

• Likes to spend extended time outdoors

Role Responsibilities:

• Providing companionship and social interaction

• Supporting the client with outdoor activities and long walks

• Assisting with wheelchair mobility when required

• Supporting with general wellbeing and engagement

• Managing and changing catheter bags (training/experience required)

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (essential)

• Confident, proactive, and positive attitude

• Physically fit and active

• Strong and capable of supporting mobility needs

• Experience with catheter care is desirable

• Previous care or support experience preferred

Ideal Candidate:

• Aged between 25–40 (preferred)

• Reliable, professional, and compassionate

• Enjoys being outdoors and leading an active lifestyle

• Able to build a strong, trusting relationship with the client
