Field Care Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong presence in the community, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of clients’ health and social care needs

• Develop and implement detailed, person-centred care plans

• Complete and regularly review risk assessments

• Carry out service user reviews and quality monitoring visits

• Be actively present in the field supervising staff and supporting clients

• Provide direct guidance, mentoring, and spot checks for care staff

• Ensure compliance with company policies and CQC standards

• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies

• Complete necessary documentation and care records (office-based work is limited to paperwork only)

• Participate in on-call duties as required

As we expand into live-in care services, the Field Care Supervisor will be expected to:

• Take the lead role in initiating new live-in care packages

• Spend time with the client to fully understand their needs

• Carry out thorough assessments before care begins

• Ensure a smooth and professional handover to the assigned care staff

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Field Care Supervisor in domiciliary care

• Strong knowledge of the care industry and CQC regulations

• Experience in care planning, risk assessments, and client assessments

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
