Complex Domiciliary Care, Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire
Part-Time (initially a few hours per week Monday – Friday)


We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active PIN to support our growing complex domiciliary care service. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically confident nurse who enjoys autonomy, professional responsibility, and working closely with care teams in the community.

You will provide clinical oversight and support to individuals with complex needs living in their own homes. Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will help ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care delivery.

What the role involves

Conduct comprehensive pre-support clinical assessments for new service users
Provide clinical supervision to care staff
Carry out observational supervision in the community
Deliver and support clinical training for carers
Ensure care delivery aligns with best practice, policies, and regulatory requirements
Support competency assessments and skills sign-off
 Contribute to maintaining high standards of clinical governance
Liaise appropriately with families and professionals where required.

Essential for the role

Two years experience working in a complex care environment, either in the community or in a general hospital
Active NMC registration (RGN)
Strong clinical judgement and decision-making ability
IT literate, including experience with electronic care planning systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
 Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Professional, reliable, and highly organised.
