Job summary

Job Description:
We are currently looking for compassionate and reliable Female Care Assistants to join our team.
This is a female-only role, as the position requires providing personal care to female service users in their own homes.
In accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, this requirement is considered a genuine occupational requirement.

Requirements:

• Must have a full UK driving licence
• Must have access to your own car
• Previous experience in care is required
• Friendly, caring, and reliable attitude
• Female applicants only due to the personal care needs of female clients (GOR)

Pay & Benefits:

• £12.85 - £13 per hour (rate to be increased from April 2026)
• £0.25 per mile mileage allowance (rate to be increased from April 2026)
• Paid from start to finish of your rota (not just contact time)

Role Responsibilities:

• Supporting clients with daily living activities
• Providing personal care to service users
• Assisting with medication where required
• Helping clients maintain independence in their own homes
• Travelling between clients’ homes
