About the Role

We are looking for passionate and experienced Support Worker to work with our elderly and vulnerable service users in the Durham area. 

Key Responsibilities

  • ????Provide personalised care
  • ????Monitor and respond to client’s needs throughout the shift
  • ????Safely use hoists and other moving & handling equipment
  • ????Follow care plans and maintain accurate records
  • ????Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment

Requirements

  • ????Carer (Genuine Occupational Requirement under Equality Act 2010)
  • ????Minimum 1 year of care experience
  • ????Confident using hoists and moving & handling equipment
  • ????Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • ????Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • ????Must pass all recruitment and compliance checks

The successful candidates will work directly with a variety of service users who are both ambulatory and non-ambulatory. The Healthcare Assistants will need to be able to perform a variety of duties
