CARE / SUPPORT WORKER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To meet the personal care and support needs of customers in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.
• Provide assistance with household and domestic tasks where agreed and in line with the care plan, e.g., laundry, shopping, cleaning etc.
• To make meals, drinks and snacks where necessary. Assist with feeding where needed.
• Maintain the client's dignity and independence.
• Encourage and enable clients to follow agreed care and support plans.
• Keep the line manager, the business and key partners informed about the well-being of customers and the progress of the care being undertaken
• Attend staff meetings and supervision sessions with managers.
