Live in carer

At GoldenTouch Home Care Services, we are looking for compassionate and reliable Live in Carers to join our growing team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals to remain safe, comfortable, and independent within their own homes while providing high quality, person centred care.

We provide a variety of care packages ranging from companionship and daily support to personal care, dementia care, and more complex support needs.

As a Live in Carer, you will stay within the client’s home during your placement and provide tailored support based on their individual needs and routines.

Responsibilities:

No two care packages are the same. Responsibilities may vary depending on the individual needs of each client and may include:

• Providing personal care and companionship
• Assisting with medication and health monitoring
• Supporting mobility and daily routines
• Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration
• Assisting with dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Providing emotional support and reassurance
• Supporting individuals living with dementia or other health conditions
• Assisting with light household duties
• Accompanying clients to appointments or outings where required
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately

Requirements

• Caring, patient, and reliable nature
• Previous care experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Right to work in the UK
• Driving licence preferred but not essential
