Home Care Assistant - Altrincham & surrounding areas

Heritage Healthcare Trafford & Cheshire is currently looking for dedicated Home Care Professionals, to work in the communities of Altrincham and the surrounding Trafford and Cheshire areas.  Due to increased client demands, our team is expanding, so we have 2 current opportunities.  Part time and full time applicants will be considered. Some previous care experience preferred but not essential, as full training is provided.

As a Home Carer, you will play a vital role in helping adults maintain their independence and wellbeing, in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

JOB ROLE:

· Delivering person-centred care and support to clients, assisting in their daily routines including bathing, dressing, food preparation, light domestic duties and other essential activities

· Extending support to clients for their mobility and transfer needs, using appropriate manual handling equipment when required

· Diligently administering medications to clients, strictly following their care plans and our medication policies

· Monitoring and promptly reporting any changes in clients' overall health and well-being to the management team

· Engaging clients in social activities and assisting in various outings, as appropriate 

REQUIREMENTS:

· Caring, compassionate, trustworthy, and reliable individuals

· A full, clean driving licence and own transport

· Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of our clients

· You must be available to work shifts for a minimum of 3 days mid-week, plus alternate weekends. Various shifts between the hours of 8am and 10pm.
