Care Assistant

Due to expansion we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals living in their own home. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and needs.
• Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered appropriately.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring a safe and pleasant journey.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
• Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
