Just lost my father due to illness who was the carer for mum .mum is in a care home for now with dementia in the early stage. The caring company have helped us make decisions and every day ask how she is . It has been a privilege to support your mum. Knowing that your mum felt safe, loved,...
When we needed to change frequency of care as circumstances changed they were very responsive and flexible.
We particularly like dealing with this small company as we have got to know the staff. It is always easy to check updates and communicate any changes in requirements.
We are honoured to have supported your family during what has been a very significant time, and we are deeply sorry for the loss of your father. It has...
In the following days they have managed to get his confidence back and he is back up with his Zimmerman safety that's from their care and the way they look after him so well ,he is so happy with the care he received.

Lovely people, always willing to help me, often way beyond what I asked for. Nothing seemed to much trouble and always flexible when i needed to change at short notice. Good communications with everyone. On the whole, im very happy with the service provided
Thank you for your review. We are so glad we could meet your needs regardless of short notice.
Very keen to attend to my Mothers wishes and needs with care and respect. She is very happy with this care providers employees. I am also very content to know she seems to be in good hands with the efficiency that these carers provide which is as essential to my well wellbeing as it is to my Mothers.
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad that we are able to provide peace of mind
We, as a family, are overwhelmed with the care and kindness my grandmother receives from Bloomfield Care. Their support has not only made a difference to my grandmother but to us, as a family. Now, when we visit, we can enjoy our time with her and not have our visits be taken over by us trying to provide care. We have valuable time back to make more memories.
I have never had the pleasure of working with such a wonderful care company. They are always there at the end of a telephone. 99% of the time on time. So caring and considerate. Their clients always come first. My aunty adores each and every one of them. The managers are interested in the clients. Also, treat them as if they are family members.
Thank you very much for your feedback. It is much appreciated. Thank you.
Mum felt at ease with all the carers. They listened to what was needed from them and delivered every day without any problems. Such friendly professionals. I would recommend them to anyone that needs care.
More than happy to recommend them.

Having grown up in Watford living on a working farm, Russell now lives and work in Dorset, and what a lovely county Dorset is. His young family love the great natural spaces and amazing coastline that is on his doorstep.
Russell's working life started as a part-time trolley collector for a big American Retailer, and 15 years later after a brief spell in Australia, he was running his own store. His experience in retail then took him to the position of Managing Director for an ethical retail chain in Bristol with a focus on Organic and high-welfare products. The big change came when, with the support of his wife, they invested in a Wiltshire Farm Foods franchise, which they have been running for a couple of years now.
Starting Bloomfield Care with Helen Blunden has been the most rewarding experience of all, learning all that goes into providing exceptional Care. We are very proud of the approach we take, understanding the partnerships between us and our clients.
When Russell is not working, he fills in as taxi driver for his very busy children, with the two boys fully involved with Wimborne Rugby Club and his little girl wanting to go riding every spare minute.
Helen has four children, two grandsons and one granddaughter. She has worked in various sectors of the care industry. Throughout her career, she has taken on the role of an NVQ Assessor, Deputy manager both in residential settings and within the community as well as a care trainer.
Helen feels each of her roles has enabled her to develop the skills, knowledge and experience to lead her where she is today, which is passionate and dedicated to delivering a high service to our clients whilst empowering our staff to achieve their own goals and ambitions.
If you speak to those that know Helen personally and professionally, they will say she is kind, fair, compassionate, and approachable. Helen's motto is everything seems better discussed over coffee and cake!
I started my career as a Care Assistant in a nursing home in Stroud. I worked there for two years before seeking more knowledge within different sectors of care and the industry.
By gaining more knowledge of the care industry, I then moved companies and worked as a Senior Support Worker in a Supported Living home in Stroud. Here, I managed a team of 8 members of staff and 5 clients, completing all relevant paperwork and ensuring the home was run smoothly and all the clients and their families were happy with the care provided.
I completed my Level 5 in Health and Social Care, moved to Weymouth, and I now manage Bloomfield Care in Dorset.
In my free time, I’m a massive paddleboarding junkie, I love nothing more than spending the day in the sea on my board with friends and family. My favourite food is pizza. I have a Don Sphynx cat called Luna and a Boxer called Eadie.
With over 16 years of experience in the care industry, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of sectors—from running a domiciliary care agency to serving as a Registered Manager and business owner. Each role has deepened my passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
I chose to join Bloomfield because of its strong ethos and reputation for putting people at the heart of everything they do. Their commitment to person-centred care, dignity, and respect perfectly aligns with my own values and approach to supporting others.
Outside of work, I live with my husband, with whom I've shared over 20 wonderful years. We love holidaying in the sun, but my true happy place is Cornwall. There, I enjoy paddleboarding, slowing down with a good book, and soaking up the peace and natural beauty the coast has to offer.
I started my journey in care over 14 years ago when I took a job as a carer, originally thinking it would simply be a part-time role around my husband and children. Very quickly, I realised how rewarding the work was, and it soon became a career I truly love.
Over the years, I have worked in many roles across both domiciliary care and care home settings, including Carer, Senior Carer, Team Leader, Care Coordinator, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager and Trainer. Each role has helped me build a strong understanding of the care sector and the importance of providing compassionate, person-centred support.
I now work as the Client Relations and Business Development Manager, a role that suits me perfectly as I love meeting people, supporting families and helping them find the right care for their loved ones.
Outside of work, I am married and have three children. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking and going on long countryside walks with our dog. I’m very much a people person and love building meaningful relationships, both in my work and personal life.
