Home Care Assistant – North Shropshire (Oswestry & surrounding areas)

At Visiting Angels North Shropshire, we’re building a team of Caregivers who actually have the time to care properly. That means meaningful visits, consistent clients, and support that feels like support – not paperwork overload.

We’re hiring kind, reliable people to support clients living independently in their own homes across Oswestry and surrounding areas in North Shropshire.

Pay that reflects real care work

• Weekdays: £13.75 per hour
• Weekends: £14.25 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £23.00 per hour
• Overnight / Live-in / Waking Nights: from £12.75 per hour
• Travel time & training: £12.71 per hour
• Mileage: 30p per mile

Paid every 2 weeks – because waiting a month for wages doesn’t help anyone.

What you’ll be doing

Every visit is about helping people stay safe, independent and comfortable at home:

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal care support
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Light household tasks
• Supporting routines that make daily life easier

No back-to-back rushing. Time to actually do the job properly.

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need years of experience – we can train that.

We’re looking for people who have:

• A naturally caring and patient approach
• Good communication and listening skills
• Reliability and commitment
• Access to your own transport

Experience in care is helpful, but not essential.
