Job Summary

Chelmscare Ltd is a well-established and respected home care provider delivering high-quality domiciliary care services across Hertfordshire. With over 10 years of experience in the sector, we are committed to providing exceptional, person-centred care that enhances the well-being, independence, and dignity of our Service Users within their own homes.

At Chelmscare, we believe that outstanding care starts with outstanding people. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, reliable, and tailored support to individuals with a wide range of needs, whilst fostering a positive, supportive, and rewarding working environment for our staff.

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking caring, reliable, and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a genuine difference to people’s lives by delivering high-quality care and support within the community.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will ensure that the care provided empowers Service Users and meets their individual needs in a dignified, respectful, and person-centred manner. You will work closely with Service Users, their families, friends, and healthcare professionals to promote independence, well-being, and a positive atmosphere within the service.

The ability to work in an empathetic, patient, and holistic manner to maintain orientation, dignity, choice, and independence is essential. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, energetic, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional standards of care.

You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role, including, but not limited to:

  • Providing personal care and emotional support;
  • Assisting with medication and daily living tasks;
  • Supporting with meal preparation and domestic duties;
  • Assisting individuals to access employment, education, appointments, and social opportunities;
  • Promoting independence, inclusion, and community engagement.

We value the personal skills, experience, and interests that you bring to the role and to the lives of the people we support. This may include interests or experience in areas such as sports and outdoor activities, creative arts, music, cooking, gardening, or social engagement activities.

Previous experience supporting elderly individuals within a domiciliary care or care setting is essential. Your approach must be warm, compassionate, professional, and person-centred at all times.

Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to their own reliable vehicle for work purposes.

At Chelmscare Ltd, we are committed to supporting your continuous professional development. You will have access to ongoing training, supervision, and career development opportunities to help you grow within your role and progress within the organisation.

If you are looking to join a professional, values-driven organisation where you can genuinely make a positive impact every day, we would love to hear from you.
