Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Salary: £27799.20 – £29764.80 per year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hrs a week; staggered start times to meet service needs. (plus participation in on-call rota )

About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating care services and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our Care at Home service. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, Office Manager, care staff, service users, families, and health professionals to ensure care is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with Care Inspectorate standards.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage changing priorities, and confidence working in a busy care coordination environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to changes in care packages, staffing issues, and emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with care staff, service users, families, social workers, and healthcare professionals.
- Support the onboarding and induction of new staff.
- Monitor call schedules, missed calls, and care delivery issues.
- Assist with care reviews, care planning and updates, including risk assessments.
- Conduct spot checks and supervision
- Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with company procedures.
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide operational support.
- Support the Registered and Office Managers in maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
