Home Care Assistant

Role Overview:
As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or within our care facilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and delivering care that respects the dignity and individuality of each service user.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting, in line with individual care plans.

• Support service users with mobility, meal preparation, and medication administration (if trained and competent).

• Foster a positive and respectful relationship with service users, promoting their independence and choice.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, in compliance with CQC standards.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

• Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures to protect the welfare of service users.

• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
