Job Summary

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team, providing high-quality support to individuals within their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by delivering personalised care tailored to each individual's needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in care settings or home care is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Duties

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management
  • Supporting clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
  • Implementing individualised care plans in accordance with organisational guidelines
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients’ conditions
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients at all times
  • Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and quality care delivery

Skills

  • Valid driving licence and the ability to drive safely and confidently if employed as a driver
  • Experience working within a care home or providing home care services is desirable
  • Understanding care plans and working towards a care plan that is tailored to the clients needs
  • Proficiency in using basic IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective interaction with clients and team members
  • Compassionate nature with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times
