Mountbatton have recently taken over the care of my elderly mum. All the carers are lovely and supportive, and there is no issue with speaking to the office team when needed.

I just joined this care service. I was emotionally drained, as well as needing planned care and help with almost everything! Am going out for lunch with friends today, and they helped me dress, etc. We have a similar sense of humour, and I find their company really good and helpful. They are a listening ear when I need to offload, do not judge or criticise. I am quite comfortable talking about my impending divorce (my husband left in Feb this year).
The staff I have met are well trained, knowledgeable and will help with most activities. Thank you everyone.

They are excellent at organising mum's medication, and they explain to mum and me what all the tablets are for. They go above and beyond. We couldn't manage without them.

On rare occasions, a few carers seem to be rushing, which isn't good for Edward. Dealings with management have been fine up to now.
Value for money: The care given is invaluable to us, but some days, time calls are done very quickly, 5-10 mins and bedtime can be quick too. Therefore, I feel costs are rather high overall. Having 'regular' carers is appreciated.

Brilliant service from day one! All the carers were patient, respectful, polite, cheerful and a delight to have in the house. My husband used to look forward to their visits - he was always grateful for their attention. The girls worked well together nothing was too much trouble.

I look after my elderly parents, specifically mum who has Dementia and is not able to do anything for herself. I love being with them but we had to bring in a care agency recently when I was diagnosed with cancer and started to struggle.How wrong we were in delaying using their services! Mountbatten are a family run business and it showed from the start, from James doing a home visit out of hours for our convenience, to Lisa who has sorted out what seemed to be overwhelming problems for me, and she dealt with them professionally and all in a days work! The carers themselves are polite and compassionate.They are not intrusive and are always respectful. Mum has settled nicely in their care and tries to make them laugh (mainly swearwords!). One carer even made her a "fidget blanket" to settle her and they always find time to have a chat with Dad to check on his welfare and listen to his dad jokes! We have received a warm welcome from Mountbatten and we cant thank you all enough! x
