Homecare Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to support clients with specific needs.
• Offer specialised care for clients with dementia or those requiring hospice care.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Foster a positive relationship with clients and their families, ensuring open communication regarding care plans.
