Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ensuring client safety at all times
- Supporting clients with medication in line with training, competency, company policy, and care plans
- Following individual care plans and providing personalised, person-centred support
- Providing companionship, emotional reassurance, and promoting independence
- Assisting with meal preparation, light domestic support, and maintaining a safe environment
- Accurately documenting care provided using digital care systems
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and the wider healthcare team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, care home, or a similar care setting preferred
- A caring, compassionate, and professional attitude
- Good written and spoken English
- Basic IT skills for digital documentation
- Ability to follow care plans, policies, and instructions accurately
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)
- Full UK driving licence preferred and access to your own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
