Job Summary
We value the care you provide and offer competitive rates:
- Starting rate £13.52 (day), £14.04 (evening), £15.60 (weekends/bank holidays)
- NVQ level 3 or above rate: £13.73 (day), £14.25 (evening), £15.81 (weekends/bank holidays)
Location: Swaffham and surrounding area. Candidates need to live within a 10 mile radius of Swaffham.
Work patterns: We provide care between 7:00am and 10:00pm and aim to offer flexibility that works for you. Within these hours, we have a range of shift patterns available. To ensure we meet the needs of the people we support, we do ask for some availability in the mornings or evenings.

About the role
Are you a compassionate and caring individual who has always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives?
This role will use your understanding of person centred care to be part of a responsive team. You will be providing support to customers and their families at short notice in the event of a needed break for unpaid carers.
Supporting people in their daily lives is varied and any day could include, helping someone develop a new skill, providing personal and emotional support, helping people plan and manage their home, support with leisure activities and interests.
You could be supporting people in their own home or taking them out and about in their community.
You will also play a proactive role in signposting the people we support and their families.

What we need from you
- A full driving licence and your own vehicle is essential.
- Experience is not essential for this role, a kind and compassionate nature is more important and full training will be given - we value your attitude and willingness to learn.
- A natural communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- An understanding of person-centred care.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable using various systems on a mobile phone to update care plans and check on your scheduled visits.
- Comfortable assisting with personal care for the people we support when required.
