Pay: £130 per day, plus accommodation and food allowance
Rota: 2 weeks on / 1 week off

About the role
Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is looking for a caring, dependable and confident Female Live-in Care Assistant to support a young gentleman in his own home in St Erth.
This is a rewarding live-in care role where you’ll help him live life his way. He is sociable, enjoys getting out and about, watching cricket and spending time with friends.
You’ll provide one-to-one support with daily routines, personal care, moving and positioning, companionship and practical help around the home. You’ll also drive the customer’s adapted van so he can attend appointments, social activities and days out.
There may be some unsocial hours, particularly when supporting him to go out with friends or transporting him to and from social activities.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing one-to-one live-in care and support
- Supporting with personal care respectfully and professionally
- Helping with moving and positioning
- Driving the customer’s adapted van
- Supporting outings, cricket matches and social activities
- Providing companionship and reassurance
- Encouraging independence, choice and routine
- Helping with practical tasks around the home
What we’re looking for
- A kind, patient and dependable approach
- Confidence supporting someone one-to-one
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Flexibility to support some unsocial hours
- A full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
Previous care experience is welcome, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Pay and benefits

- Rolling 2 weeks on / 1 week off rota
