Graham’s background is in business, where he trained as an architect and ran a busy Architectural practice, before using his management expertise to build and run a national charity in outdoor education and training.

He likes to support vulnerable people, and now uses his business and problem solving skills to ensure the Bluebird Care team are resourced and equipped to deliver high quality care for our customers.

Graham also wants to build strategic partnerships across the private and public sectors, to provide joined up services in Health and Social care, which are innovative and cost effective in meeting individual needs for the most vulnerable people.

Outside work Graham likes sailing, has been walking the Cornish Coast path with Carol, and is involved in community life through local church and club activities.

Carol is passionate about care in the community with 30 years NHS experience as a Health Visitor working with elderly, families and children. She loves to meet individual needs, finding solutions and bringing relief to improve quality of life for those who need it most.

Her second love is for teaching and mentoring, passing on her knowledge to a generation of student Nurses, Health Visitors and now Care Workers, encouraging them to provide the high standards of care she expects of herself.

She also has practical management expertise, working in multi-agency Health and Social Care teams, to encourage joined up services which can deliver high quality, person-centred care throughout the community.

At Bluebird Care Mid and West Cornwall, Carol sees these passions fulfilled in overseeing and supporting a skilled work force of carers to provide consistently high standards of care for our customers, who rely on us for meeting their daily needs.

Away from work, Carol keeps up with family and friends, and likes contributing to local church and community life. She has been walking the Cornish Coast path in easy stages, and enjoys fair weather sailing in warm places.

Sharon is our acting Registered Care Manager, I have worked in the care industry for 30-plus years starting with elderly care and managing a 35-bed home. For 24 years I have worked and supported adults with learning Disabilities and Autism. I started as a Care Support Worker then a Registered Manager and for the last 14 years an Operational Support Manager, supporting Registered Managers to develop within their role; I have NVQs 2, and 3,4 in Health and Social Care and NVQs 4 and 5 in Leadership and management.

With a passion for networking & meeting new people, this is a skill I have developed and thoroughly enjoy! you will see me at future events around Cornwall and I am responsible for all the marketing using my past skills in photography

My professional journey spans over 28 years, predominantly within various Health roles, notably in emergency medicine. Over the last six years, I've honed my skills in business and marketing, culminating in my arrival in the exceptional world of Bluebird Care.

I qualified as an Ambulance Technician with a Foundation Degree & NVQ/Diploma for Health & Social care, I have supported people and families my whole career, I am passionate about providing person centered care ‘your care your way’

Cornwall is the perfect place for us as a family we love to explore the southwest coastal path, cold water swimming and of course spending time exploring Cornwall with our two dogs

I have worked in care for the whole of my working life, worked thirty years with children with learning disabilities and high complex needs. I originally joined the Bluebird Care team as a care assistant as I felt I needed to know the way domiciliary care worked before taking on more of an office role, and I am now working as one of the Area Managers for the company.

Out of working hours I enjoy spending time at home and like to spend time in doing any craft work that appeals at the time. I also like to travel.

I have worked in Health and Social care since 2018 in many different job roles and have enjoyed all parts of building my career. I grew up in Suffolk and I’m glad I made the leap to move to Cornwall in 2015.

In my spare time I’m usually found walking my two dogs along the beautiful Cornish coastline, or spending time with my boyfriend, family and friends. My interests include music – I love to sing and I’m learning to play the piano, watching Formula 1 and watching Rugby – I look forward to the winter months so I can go to Penzance to watch the Pirates play!

I really enjoy my role as Area Manager for Live In Care and love working alongside such a wonderful team here at Bluebird.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my development with Bluebird Care, I started out as a Domiciliary care worker and then moved to become a team leader which meant I was able to continue to do my care role, whilst supporting others to develop and learn new skills, I was encouraged to apply for the Area Managers role and I was successful! the role involves supporting my team and coordinating/managing care packages for those with Complex care needs

I have even stared in a short film and promotion campaign for Bluebird Care Be more Rachel!

I successfully completed Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care as well as my Math's & English, it was hard work but great support from the Bluebird Care team

I previously worked in retail & educational environments where I had supported others to grow, learn new skills, work as team players and generally become more rounded individuals. I also volunteered for 13 years within scouting, I am so very grateful and proud to call myself a BLUEBIRD it is the best move I have ever made.

Ben is our Homecare Area Manager

I’ve worked in care for the past 9 years in different roles, working in home care, a care home and now as the Live In Team Manager. This is my first management position and I’m really enjoying it, settling in well with the help of our lovely team of Bluebirds.

In my down time, I like to climb mountains! I spend as much time in Wales as possible when on leave, and on weekends I walk around our beautiful coasts/woodlands. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and walking the many dogs in my friendship circle – can’t wait to have my own one day!

I’m looking forward to working alongside the Area Manager to learn and grow in my role.
