KindCare is looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Senior Carer to join our care team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting both clients and care staff in a professional and person-centred way.
As a Senior Carer, you will play an important role in ensuring that our clients receive safe, respectful and dignified care. You will support individuals with their daily routines, promote independence, and help maintain their wellbeing in line with their care plans. You will also provide guidance to care staff, monitor the quality of care delivered, and help ensure that all care practices meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting clients with personal care, medication prompts, mobility, meals, companionship and daily living tasks.
Leading by example and providing support, guidance and encouragement to care staff.
Assisting with care planning, risk assessments and reviews where required.
Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
Ensuring accurate records are completed in line with company policies.
Promoting dignity, respect, independence and choice at all times.
Supporting safeguarding procedures and maintaining confidentiality.
Helping to ensure that care is delivered safely, professionally and consistently.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a care role, strong communication skills, a caring and patient nature, and the confidence to support other members of the team. Experience as a Senior Carer, Care Team Leader or similar role would be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organised and committed to providing excellent care. You should be able to work well as part of a team, use your own initiative, and remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
KindCare is committed to providing high-quality care and creating a supportive working environment for our staff. We value kindness, respect, professionalism and compassion in everything we do.
An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
KindCare is an equal opportunities employer.
