Care Worker – KindCare

KindCare is looking for kind, reliable and compassionate Care Workers to support service users in their own homes and local community. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping people live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible.

As a Care Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support in line with each service user’s care plan. Duties may include personal care, washing and dressing, continence support, mobility support, meal preparation, medication prompts or support, companionship, light domestic tasks, shopping support, and accompanying service users to appointments or activities.

You will also observe and report any changes in service users’ wellbeing, complete accurate care records, and communicate professionally with service users, families, colleagues, managers and health and social care professionals.

We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, respectful and reliable. You should be able to promote dignity, privacy, choice and independence at all times. Previous care experience is helpful, but appropriate training will be provided. Applicants must be willing to complete all mandatory and role-specific training required by KindCare.

The role requires travel between service users’ homes, so applicants should have a valid driving licence or a practical driving test booked, together with suitable driving experience.

Applicants already in the UK must have valid right to work in the UK. Sponsored applicants must meet the relevant UK visa requirements applicable at the time of sponsorship.

An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required.
