We're looking for an ambitious and passionate Registered Care Manager to lead our growing domiciliary care service. About the Role
As Registered Care Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and customer satisfaction.
You'll work closely with the directors to grow the business while maintaining the person-centred values that Heritage Healthcare is known for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Registering with CQC as the Registered Manager (or working towards registration with our full support)
- Leading and developing a motivated, compassionate care team
- Ensuring outstanding, person-centred care is delivered to every client
- Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and legislation
- Managing recruitment, staff supervision, training and performance
- Conducting audits, quality assurance and continuous service improvement
- Building positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals and local stakeholders
- Supporting business development and helping the branch continue to grow
- Participating in the management on-call rota
About You
You'll be an organised, confident leader who genuinely cares about delivering outstanding home care.
Essential
- Experience within domiciliary care
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role such as Care Manager, Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator or Registered Manager
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Experience preparing for or managing CQC inspections
- Business development or branch growth experience
