Job Summary

Join Our Award-Winning Care Team

Are you a kind, caring person who enjoys helping others? Whether you're looking for a new career or already have care experience, we'd love to hear from you.

At Blossom Home Care, we help people live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone's day a little brighter, whether that's preparing a meal, sharing a conversation, or helping them remain independent.

No previous care experience is needed – we'll provide and pay for all the training, support and induction you need to build a rewarding career in care.

A Typical Day Could Include:

  • Visiting clients in their own homes and providing friendly, compassionate support.
  • Helping with personal care, such as washing, dressing and getting ready for the day.
  • Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition.
  • Supporting clients with medication where required.
  • Making a cup of tea and enjoying a chat to reduce loneliness.
  • Helping with light household tasks, such as washing up or laundry.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping or social activities.
  • Encouraging clients to remain as independent as possible.
  • Keeping simple records of the support you've provided and sharing any concerns with the office team.

What You'll Enjoy

When you join Blossom Home Care, you'll become part of a supportive team that values your wellbeing and helps you grow. As well as making a real difference every day, you'll enjoy:

  • Paid training, induction and shadowing to help you feel confident from day one.
  • Guaranteed hours for added security and peace of mind.
  • 45p per mile mileage allowance for travel between client visits.
  • Paid holiday and a workplace pension scheme.
  • Opportunities to develop your career, including funded NVQ qualifications.
  • A supportive team environment, with regular contact, guidance and team meetings.
  • A £250 Refer a Friend bonus when you introduce someone who joins our team.

We're committed to helping you feel valued, supported and proud of the difference you make every day.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are kind, reliable and genuinely enjoy helping others. To join our team, you'll also need:

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
  • To be available to work every other weekend.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
  • The right to work in the UK.

Most importantly, we're looking for caring people with a positive attitude. If that's you, we'll provide all the training and support you need to build a rewarding career in care.
