Field Care Supervisor

Seeking an experienced carer to join our small and friendly team as a Field Care Supervisor (but we call it a Supervisory Personal Assistant, because we are not a standard Care Company)

Purbeck Personal Assistants LTD supports Adults in the Purbeck areas of Dorset, mainly in Swanage, Langton, Harmans Cross and Corfe Castle, but also in Wareham and all nearby areas, to remain living independently in their own homes. We also support clients who holiday in the area, mainly in Swanage and Studland.

Our moto is No task TOO BIG, no task too small, so no matter what our client's need, if it is safe to do so, then we will help them to do it. 

We Pride ourselves in providing person centred care, each client is different and their needs, abilites and likes and dislikes are all different, so every care visit is different.

The ideal candidate will have been working in Care for two years or more and have some experience in managing other carers and ideally hold a level 3 certificate in Health and Social Care, but none of this is essential for the right candidate as full training and support will be provided.

What will your day look like at Purbeck Personal Assistants?

• Providing Care to our Clients
• Teaching new Carers how to provide Care to our Clients
• Spot Checking Carers to ensure the care they provide is to the highest standard
• Completing Supervisions and Appraisals with Carers
• Assisting with interviewing and onboarding of new Carers
• Completing New Client Assessments
• Writing and updating Client Care Plans
• Writing and Reviewing Risk Assessments
• Completing Audits
• Assisting the Regsitered Manager and Assistant Manager with the overall running of the business

Location of work will vary, being based in our company Office in Swanage, but also visiting our clients in their own homes

Working Hours:

30 - 48 hours per week (will consider job share)

Variety of early mornings, days, evenings and every other weekend, which is all flexible and changeable to meet the needs of our clients and support other carers, and also flexible to suit your own lifestyle

Our earliest Care Visit starts at 07:30am and the latest Care Visit finishs by 10:15pm.  We also have a 24 hour care client, including overnight support and a Live in Care Client
