About Us

We are a well-established, values-led domiciliary care provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in people’s own homes. Our focus is on quality, dignity, and doing the right thing — not just ticking boxes.

We are now looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join our small, dedicated management team and help us continue to develop and maintain safe, effective, and outstanding care.

What We Offer

  • A supportive Registered Manager and collaborative working environment
  • A role where quality truly matters and your voice is heard
  • Autonomy and trust to manage your workload
  • Opportunity to make a real difference to care standards and outcomes
  • Competitive salary and flexible working where possible

About the Role

As Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing and strengthening quality across the service. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure care delivery meets regulatory requirements, company policies, and best practice — while remaining practical and supportive for the team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys detail, investigation, and improving systems, but who also understands the realities of domiciliary care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and oversee regular care audits (including care plans, care notes, risk assessments and MARs)
  • Investigate complaints, concerns, and incidents, ensuring timely, fair, and proportionate responses
  • Identify themes, risks, and learning from audits and complaints and support service improvement
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and safeguarding procedures
  • Support the Registered Manager with quality monitoring, action plans, and CQC readiness
  • Liaise with staff, families, professionals, and external agencies as required
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and audit trails

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in domiciliary care or a similar regulated care setting
  • Has a strong understanding of quality assurance, audits, and compliance
  • Is confident investigating concerns and writing clear, professional reports
  • Has good knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding
  • Is organised, methodical, and able to work independently
  • Communicates calmly, sensitively, and professionally
  • Shares our values and commitment to high-quality care

A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3/4/5 in Health & Social Care) is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
