The team are professional and supportive enabling my Mum to remain at home and feel well cared for. The staff build a relationship with Mum each time they attend so that she feels safe and happy with the visits and care received.

The carers from Axe Valley home care have never let us down. They try to arrive punctually and are kind and cheerful. They help my husband out of bed and take him into bathroom and help him to wash etc. They leave him in his comfortable chair and make his bed, usually leaving all tidy before they leave.
We are both grateful for the service.

My mother, who has dementia, has been receiving daily care from Axe Valley Home Care since August 2024.
Communication, assessment, continuity, and care have been excellent.
Mum initially found it very hard to accept help in her home, but has adapted well and appreciates the support and company during
the day, which enables her to stay living independently for as long as possible.
As a daughter, I can now relax knowing Mum is receiving excellent professional care and support.

Axe Valley Home Care have been looking after my 97-year-old mother for several months now, enabling her to continue to live in her own home, which is very important to her. We have been very pleased with the standard of care. The carers are considerate, gentle, kind and professional, and the office
is well-run and efficient. I have been kept reliably informed of any issues or concerns that they might have about my mum and feel confident about leaving her in their care.

We were very happy with the lovely smiling carers who looked after my mum for a year before she transferred to a care home. She was well-fed and watered and enjoyed her chats with them.
She was able to stay at home from full-time care for a much longer period because of their daily visits.

I've found all the care staff to be very pleasant and helpful.
One particular carer is absolutely fabulous, another person leaves my husband's clothes in the bathroom and leaves the light on and I have to go around after he leaves to clean up.

I would like to say how well my husband and I were cared for by Axe Valley Care. From the outset of our care, they were very understanding of our needs and went into detail about how best they could help us, which was reassuring. The Office staff were always friendly, helpful and ready to listen to
any query we had, which they happily resolved. We could always contact them by telephone or e-mail, either of which they quickly responded to. The carers were very kind, caring, polite and very respectful of us both in our home. Each time they came to help us they checked to make sure we were happy with the care they had given us, always asking if there was anything else they could do to help. Overall we were extremely impressed with the care Axe Valley Care gave to us, it was always a pleasure to see the carers when they visited our home.

My family and I cannot recommend Axe Valley Home Care highly enough.
From the office staff to the carers, their service is fantastic.
The carers are very professional and do all they can to help our mum. We SO appreciate all their care and hard work.
This review relates to September as there was
no option to put anything other than a month, but we have been using Axe Valley for well over a year now and they have ALWAYS been great.
As a family, this gives us peace of mind that our elderly mother can still live an independent life, but with support from the wonderful carers and office staff.
Axe Valley will call emergency or local surgery etc as needed and keep family in touch at all times.
Even out of hours, someone helps us when needed.
Thank you SO much Axe Valley staff.

Carers that come are friendly, helpful, and always with a smile and are respectful.
They work hard, checking by asking if there is anything thing else required before leaving. They relay information updates back to the office.
Management team phone to confirm all is well.
It's nice that mostly the
same carers come providing continuous care and support as the routine is known.

Excellent service with first-class care. All the carers are a delight, extremely reliable, polite and caring. My wife enjoys their morning visits and enjoys the social interaction. We were not using the full half hour of service, so they rang us to discuss how we could make better use of the time. It
demonstrates that they really care about the service they offer. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

The carers look after me very well. They are kind and helpful. If I need anything extra they always oblige. I like to keep some independence and they allow this but soon notice if I get overtired. Although my husband is my carer he is not very fit himself and the carers are aware of this and help where
necessary.
