Your Role

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you'll support individuals to remain independent in the comfort of their own homes while promoting dignity, choice and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care with compassion and respect
• Supporting with medication (following appropriate training)
• Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition
• Helping with light household duties
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with shopping, appointments and community activities
• Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing
• Maintaining accurate care records and following individual care plans

Experience in care is welcomed but not essential. If you have the right attitude, kindness and willingness to learn, we'll provide all the training and support you need.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable for community-based roles

As our domiciliary care service continues to expand, we are welcoming new colleagues in line with the increasing number of care packages entrusted to us.

To ensure continuity of care and sustainable working patterns, some successful applicants may initially begin with a smaller number of hours than their long-term preference. However, we actively grow our teams alongside our expanding client base, and additional hours are typically introduced progressively over a relatively short period.

Our objective is to build stable, reliable schedules that provide long-term security for our staff while maintaining the highest standards of care for the people we support. Throughout this process, we remain committed to open communication and working closely with our employees to achieve their desired working hours as quickly as possible.
