Care Assistant

Care Herts Ltd. are looking for compassionate and dedicated carers to join our vibrant team of community care practitioners.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence and access to a car is mandatory.

We are currently looking for Care Assistants who can work weekends in Welwyn Garden City and surrounding areas, to expand our team and increase our capacity to continue to deliver excellent care to all our clients. Weekend carers may be asked to take on morning, lunchtime, teatime, or evening rounds.

Responsibilities:

• Providing care and support to elderly clients in their own homes
• Assisting clients with their medication, including administering it to them
• Assisting clients with personal care
• Incontinence care
• Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Interacting with clients and providing companionship
• Enablement support – helping clients to be as independent as possible
