Responsibilities

Visit service users in the community to assist with daily routines, including personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) and mobility support.

Support medication administration in line with proper protocols to ensure safety and compliance.

Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.

Engage service users with meaningful companionship and behavioral management strategies to encourage social well-being.

Deliver specialized, comforting care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments.

Carry out light housekeeping tasks to keep home environments clean, safe, and welcoming.

Escort or drive service users to local appointments, errands, or social activities when required.

Requirements

Previous experience in domiciliary care, home care, or assisted living settings is preferred.

Understanding of core care techniques, including medication safety, dementia care, and senior well-being.

Physical capability to handle mobility support and transfer tasks safely.

Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record for community visits.

First Aid certification (or willingness to complete training upon hire).

Strong communication skills and a naturally empathetic, patient approach.
