Care Manager

Lead, develop and grow a high-quality home care service

Heritage Healthcare Windsor is looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our local home care service. This is an opportunity to shape a growing service while maintaining safe, person-centred care and a positive culture for clients and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

· Lead the day-to-day operation of the service

· Maintain safe, person-centred and high-quality care

· Recruit, develop and retain care colleagues

· Plan the workforce and manage operational performance

· Support business development and sustainable local growth

· Build strong relationships with clients, families and professional partners

· Oversee quality, compliance, governance and accurate operational reporting

· Respond appropriately to incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns

· Promote a positive, accountable and professional culture

· Participate in the on-call rota as required

What we’re looking for

· Experience managing a domiciliary or community care service

· Strong leadership and people-management skills

· A sound understanding of safeguarding, compliance and quality assurance

· Experience of recruitment, retention and workforce planning

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· A proactive and solution-focused approach

· Commercial awareness and the ability to support sustainable growth

Desirable qualifications and experience

· Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or working towards it

· Registered Manager experience

· Domiciliary care management experience

· Experience leading a CQC-regulated service
