Job Summary
Do you want a say in both how care is organised and how it's delivered — not just one or the other? Day to Day Care is an award-winning, CQC-registered home care provider that has supported people across Bromley and Orpington since 2003. We're looking for a Care Coordinator/Supervisor to take ownership of both sides of the service: scheduling and continuity in the office, and quality and standards out in the field.
What you'll do
You'll match Care/Support Workers to clients, keep calls covered through holiday, sickness and emergencies, and carry out needs assessments, spot checks and supervisions to make sure the care being delivered matches the care that's been planned. You'll introduce new care workers to clients, run team meetings, and be a first point of contact for both office queries and field issues.
What we're looking for
- Experience in the care sector, with a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, comfortable switching between office and field work
- A sound understanding of good care principles, needs assessment and care planning
- Comfortable using IT and rostering systems
- Willingness to take part in an on-call rota (1 evening/week, alternate weekend days)
- Right to work in the UK (Day to Day Care does not hold a sponsorship licence and cannot sponsor a visa)
What we offer
- £31,000 p.a. + on-call payment (approx. £4,900 p.a.) — total approx. £35,900 p.a., plus 45p per mile
- Company pension scheme and 28 days' paid annual leave
- Ongoing training and career development, including funded qualifications
- A supportive, values-led team where your contribution is recognised
If you're ready to shape both the schedule and the standard, we'd love to hear from you.
